This 628-acre natural area is flowy yet flat, with both wooded and open meadow trail. In July and August, you’ll see native wildflowers flush the area with hues of white, blue, purple, and yellow. WebThe Slavin Conservation Area is a respite from the heavy crowds on the Spokane area beaches during summer months. The lake at Slavin is covered in weeds and overgrowth to the point where paddleboarding or fishing are not feasible. However, that also means that it is not a good candidate for kids, teenagers, and loud family reunions.
