It begins near the city of Cabazon, summits Southern California’s tallest mountain, San Gorgonio (11,503 ft / 3,506 m), and continues north until Big Bear City (via the 1.2 mi / 1.9 km Cougar Crest Trail at PCT 277.7). A 30-mile multiday back pack in the breathtaking Goat Rocks Wilderness with potential for panoramic vistas and includes the infamous "knife edge traverse".
