When you spray the wand, releasing the pressure, the pump will turn back on. Bypass pumps are not equipped with a pressure switch and continuously run when the pump has power to it. I did the troubleshooting process and touched both red wires in the pressure control and the motor works. This indicates a defective pressure switch. I am getting a free replacement.
