The intake ports on the heads appear to be CNC ported or at least port-matched. I've been told that these heads kick ass if they don't crack. 1 - 10 of 10 Posts. (out of the box) There are so many brands and many differing opinions on heads. I tend to listen to guys like Joe Sherman and Jon Kaase and a few others. The Can 310, with a 2.300 intake is sized ideally for a 7000rpm 540 na. I may be doing a set here soon that we can really see wht we can get out of them. My guess is they will go in the high 380's. Such a piston would shrould the valves badly, reduce flow and VE, and probably be prone to pinging. you'd be way better off with a 64cc head and a flat top or 1/8" dome piston.
